Keep On Living!

Hope Exists After Loss H.E.A.L.

Our mission is to help others live with purpose, direction, and inner strength.

Keep On Living H.E.A.L. Circle: Couples

This space is for grieving couples/partners who feel distant, misunderstood, easily triggered, or unsure how to talk without fighting or shutting down.

Led by Char and Coach King, we've been married over 30 years and grieving our son since 2017.

We’ll openly share how we walked through anger, silence, blame, miscommunication, shutdowns, disconnect and the fear of losing each other.

More importantly, we'll help guide you through the tools that helped us stay together: honest conversation, grief language, gentle rituals, and teamwork.

This circle will help you communicate more clearly, understand each other’s grief style, and remember you’re on the same team: learning how to keep on living, together.

In this circle, couples will:

*Learn how different grieving styles show up in a relationship

*Get simple tools to communicate without attacking or shutting down

*Explore how to support each other while still honoring your individual grief

*Begin rebuilding connection, safety, and teamwork again

This is not therapy—it’s a guided, honest, heart-level space to remember:

You’re on the same team, even in the pain.

Keep On Living H.E.A.L. Circle: Dads

This circle is led by Coach King and created for fathers who are grieving but feel like they have to “stay strong” for everyone else.

In this space, Coach King talks openly about his own journey as a grieving dad — the anger, numbness, shutting down, overworking, pulling away, and feeling like no one really understood his pain.

In the Dads Circle, fathers will:

*Hear from another dad who’s lived it

*Learn healthy ways to cope without shutting down or exploding

*Talk about pressure, provider roles, and silent grief

*Get tools to express emotion without feeling weak

It’s real, honest, and judgment-free.

Just men, grief, and a safe place to breathe.

What We Do

Through the Keep On Living H.E.A.L. Circles, we create safe, uplifting spaces for grieving families to heal and keep moving forward.

We offer different H.E.A.L. Circles — one for Resilient Mothers, one for Dads, and one for Couples — each designed to honor their child’s life, process deep and often stigmatized grief, and remind them that hope still exists after loss.

Who We Are

We’re Char and Davone “Coach King” Johnson — grieving parents, healers, and protectors of families.

Through the Keep On Living H.E.A.L. Circles, we host healing circles for Resilient Mothers, Dads, and Couples so families can grieve honestly, feel supported, and remember their children with honor, not shame.

Through Get A Policy Now, we help families protect their futures with real-world, heart-led insurance solutions, blending emotional healing with practical peace of mind.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help grieving parents keep on living after loss.

Through the Keep On Living H.E.A.L. Circles, we create safe, uplifting circles for Resilient Mothers, Dads, and Couples to grieve openly, feel seen, and find hope again—especially after stigmatized loss.

We honor their children’s legacy while giving families tools, community, and support to heal in healthy ways and move forward with love, purpose, and peace.

Let's H.E.A.L. and

keep on living!
